AFIRE ACTIVE is a community where women are encouraged to embrace their bodies and honor them through movement.
Our mission is to help women make health and wellness a part of their daily lives. We believe that fitness is not all or nothing and people do not have to fit into the categories of athletes, bodybuilders, runners, etc. to move and nourish their bodies.
Exercise is vital for a person’s overall well-being and is an amazing way to prioritize our health and care for our bodies. Exercise is also not just a short-term strategy on a weight-loss journey. The goal is for exercise and nutrition to be sustainable over the course of our whole lives, and it should be done with the goal of treating our bodies with love, not punishing them.
Above all, we believe that wellness goes beyond fitness and diet and we encourage a well-rounded approach to caring for your body, including a focus on sleep, habits, and mental health. We encourage women to improve the way they care for their bodies, out of an abundance of love for them.
